We caught up with Channel 5's Milkshake! presenter, David Ribi, ahead of his role as the Jack this Christmas in our 2024 panto Jack and the Beanstalk!

1. Are you excited to be coming to Bournemouth this Christmas?

I’m thrilled to be coming back to Bournemouth again this Christmas! I had a ball playing Peter Pan at the Pavilion back in 2022/23 and cant wait to see the awesome Bournemouth audiences again this year!

2. What are you most looking forward to in this year’s panto?

Bringing an all new telling of Jack and the Beanstalk to the Pavilion for the first time! Expect big laughs, ridiculous characters, and a whole lot of 3D effects!!

3. What does doing panto mean to you?

It’s a tradition in my life now! This will be my 10^th Panto as the leading male, and my first time playing Jack, so this will be a special one for sure.

4. What do you enjoy about starring in pantos?

I love that you never quite know what's going to happen once the curtain goes up. Pantomimes always mould themselves around the audience that are in and so no two shows are ever the same – especially when you share a scene with the dame or the comic. I'm watching you Brodie!

5. What is your favourite Christmas tradition?

Pigs in Blankets. Haha!
